Serving Ministries.
LIFE Groups are one of the best ways to get connected at Plymouth Baptist Church. No matter your age or stage of life, there’s a place for you to grow spiritually, build lasting friendships, and truly belong. Fellowship and faith development are at the heart of every group.
If you're unsure where to start after reading through the group options, we’d be glad to help you find the right fit. Guests are always welcome, and on any Sunday or Wednesday, our friendly volunteers at the Welcome Center are available to guide you and help you locate the different groups throughout the building.
Worship Team
The Worship Team meets on Thursday evenings to prepare for Sunday services. This team is open to all who feel led by the Spirit to serve through music. If you're interested in joining, please contact the church office or reach out to Deb, our Worship Team Leader. All instruments and vocal types are welcome and appreciated!
Coffee Café
Open before the 9:15 AM LIFE Groups, the Coffee Café offers coffee, breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and other delicious treats to help you start your morning off right.
Lydia’s Closet
Lydia’s Closet is a church-led outreach ministry that provides clothing to those in need, including professional attire and everyday wear. Donations of gently used clothing are always welcome. If you or someone you know needs assistance, please call or email the church to schedule a time to visit Lydia’s Closet.
Prayer Team.
The Prayer Team gathers on Wednesdays at 5:45 PM in the Sanctuary. During this time, praise reports and prayer requests are shared and individually prayed over. Everyone is welcome—whether you're a seasoned prayer warrior or just beginning to learn how to pray, this team is here to support and guide you.
Disaster Relief.
PBC is proud to support Disaster Relief efforts through the Southern Baptist North American Mission Board. This ministry responds to disasters both in the U.S. and around the world, offering practical help and hope in times of crisis.
Building and Grounds.
The Building & Grounds team handles the daily upkeep and maintenance of our church property. This includes coordinating with the Executive Team Leader to schedule repairs, set up work projects, and maintain our facilities.
Finance Team.
The Finance Team is responsible for managing the church’s finances. This includes processing all types of giving (tithes, designated contributions, estate gifts, etc.) and ensuring timely payment of church expenses, including payroll. The team also prepares the annual budget, which is presented to the congregation for approval.
Deacons.
Our deacons lead by example in serving others. They assist with benevolence, communion, and baptism, and play a key role in supporting the spiritual and practical needs of the church body. We are deeply thankful for these faithful men and their ministry at Plymouth.
